Alex founded Ambition Capital in 2018 with the goal of helping promising companies to grow whilst also providing opportunities for institutional investors to secure attractive investment returns.

A self described rehabilitated investment banker, Alex completed an MEng Master's degree in Engineering at Imperial College London in 2003. During university he worked in the engineering, wealth management and commodity trading sectors.

In the year before graduating, he interned at Goldman Sachs, before joining JPMorgan's graduate programme in their Investment Banking division. There, he worked across a number of large and medium sized mergers, acquisitions and disposals as well as several leveraged finance transactions. Moving to Merrill Lynch for several years in a similar role, he subsequently left to join a startup investment manager focussed on SME growth capital, before founding Ambition Capital.

In his spare time he enjoys travelling off the beaten path and testing his food palate.
